Our Story
For nearly ten years, Tony and Sarah Nasello worked together aboard luxury and adventure cruise ships, traveling to all seven continents and experiencing the cuisines of the world. For years they dreamed of opening a restaurant that would specialize in the same kind of service and cuisine for which cruise ships are famous.
Upon returning to dry land and settling in Fargo, Sarah’s hometown, they decided it was time to launch their own ship. In December, 2000, their ship was complete and they named her Sarello’s, a combination of Sarah’s first name and Tony’s last. In the fall of 2003, the Nasellos expanded their operation by adding a full service wine and cocktail lounge.
Experienced professionals in the hospitality industry, Tony and Sarah are dedicated to providing our guests with the best dining experience possible, and will not compromise on the value of excellent service.
Tony, a Toronto native and son of Sicilian immigrants, has a degree in Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts, and has worked for several companies famous for their customer service, including Walt Disney World, Hilton Corp., and Holland America Line. True to his Italian heritage, Tony believes that all it takes to make a great meal is quality ingredients, a little talent and a lot of love.

We are located directly north of the Center Mall Parking Ramp in Moorhead, just two blocks east of Downtown Fargo.
